Overview for Controls Capability

  • Management of controls activities during the Installation, Commissioning, ,Maintenance of turbines/equipment (generator or mechanical drive).
  • Inspection of plant engineering documents and P&ID’s.
  • Troubleshooting of plant systems and equipment, planning, organizing, integrating the direction of resources to meet the contracted agreement.

Specific Activities for Control Capability

  • Management of control activities on Installation, Commissioning and Maintenance of equipment, including to oversight of installation, maintenance, troubleshooting and diagnostics
  • Recording and reporting of any abnormal function or out of tolerance conditions of equipment and initiate corrective action and documentation
  • Providing of documents daily record of inspection, maintenance activity, repair and other work performed.
  • Accountability for activities including planning, organizing, integrating and directing of resources such as labor, tools and materials as required to complete the scope of work as per contract.
  • Understand PLC ladder logic, and understanding of how to navigate through ladder rungs while troubleshooting
  • Reinstallation, testing, evaluate, calibration, and maintenance of instruments or devices upon completion of repairs.
  • Interpretation and knowledge of electrical/mechanical flow and instrument diagrams
  • Verify the correct practices during installation, pre-commissioning, commissioning and maintenance are followed
  • Provide general guidance on equipment instrumentation calibration, including various types of transmitters
  • Verification of all in-field activities are carried out safely complying with company environmental, health, and safety (EHS) guidelines and procedures
  • Advise customers with technical direction and support on Original Equipment Manufacturer (OEM) packaged products
  • Oversee outage management
  • Extensive knowledge in Gas Turbine Driver Control Systems and Auxiliary Systems
  • Mark VI, Mark Vie, Mark V controls systems knowledge
